ABOUT

I am Kristina - a Bulgarian/Canadian multidisciplinary artist and cultural producer.

World-building is the main theme in my work.
I am interested in a particular aspect of it: inner world-building.
I create artworks and immersive experiences that confront the audience with an unfamiliar environment. Providing temporary evasion but most importantly - an opportunity for contemplation. I believe in the complete surrender to an experience.

My design is heavily driven by science fiction, spirituality, and mysticism.
I also gather inspiration from modern architecture and immersive interiors.
I get goosebumps thinking about yet-to-be-imagined worlds.
My creation process involves analog experimentation with materials and textures.
I incorporate neon colors, lights, iridescence, transparency, and fluidity.

Parallel to my artistic practice, I collaborate with brands, artists, and institutions open to risk and imagination.

I am based between The Netherlands and Spain.
