Michiel Schuurman's distinctive graphic style inspired
the process of making this complex piece.
I took inspiration from his signature layering, the look of motor oil spill, the fluidity and repetition of shapes, and finally - the proportional creation of depth.
After experimenting with glitter, acrylic and oil stains on water and colored paper, I extracted numerousblots. The final result is a meticulous arrangement and superimposing of those shapes.
