I created this photo series with the aim to transform everyday objects into otherworldly creatures. I covered the light source completely which allowed color to change in distinct ways.
The novel sculptures resemble fireflies and scintillating insects and the light they emit conceals their true purpose.
As the eye travels across and attempts to make sense of the shapes, the surroundings become indiscernible.
